San Diego Saturday
so my job allows me certain perks, one being the ability to visit friends all over the country. i recently relocated from San Diego (Escondido), California back to Dallas, Texas and have been looking for any excuse to visit my old friends. So Saturday, after a long day flying i catch a flight to San Diego for dinner and drinks with friends. here are a few images.

i guess he'd been panhandling for beer money?
a place for your arse.
when in rome. or in this case when in california get a california burrito!
and now to meet up with friends. the guys had been skating all day and we met them at their final spot before the group split up into random drinking parties.

the front of nick wood.
the constantly growing alex wick. (kids only 15 i think and can probably beat you and your'e dad up)
Horn's in town!
some homeless guy walked up to see what was going on.

we then went back to pete's, where he showed us his electric fly swatter.
and after burning a few bugs and killing a couple beers we hit up Hodad's in Ocean Beach.
Shiner Bock on tap? this place was good!
now that's a tasty burger.
and desert at a yet another bar, where a group of friends joined us.

matt lewis is the blurr, while chaz and quinny discuss how chaz is able to make his finger disappear up his ass.
matty speaks politics to a drunk foreigner who could care less.
matt and jesse (random roller we met at the bar) just before jesse kills geoff's game and we leave.
sunday morning i woke up, and prepared to board yet another flight. be back in texas on the 18th and back to California for the SDSF Open. check www.thesdsf.com for more details on that.

Matt Morrison
so some work i did back in 2000/2001. matt uploaded this to his youtube, and i figured i'd share my work and his skating on this as well. the song is a phish song (matt's favorite band) and the skating was all done in about a week long trip from houston to nor cal with a pit stop in pheonix. matt and his family were kind enough to take me along. there were more clips but my old sony computer crashed and it was all lost. so here you go.
